Privacy statement

The Association of Muslim Professional of Switzerland (hereafter referred to as “AMP”) is the operator of the website www.mbvs.ch (hereafter “website”). Data protection is important to the AMP. Accordingly, the applicable data protection guidelines and regulations are taken into account and respected.

This privacy statement describes how the AMP handles personal data and sets out which personal data of visitors to the website (“Visitors” or “Users”) is processed by the AMP and the purpose of this data processing.

However, the privacy statement does not extend to external links that lead to offers or websites of third parties. The data protection provisions of the respective provider apply to these websites.

Personal data

The AMP respects the privacy of its members and all Visitors. Accordingly, the AMP will not collect any personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) unless it is:

– voluntarily provided by the Visitor (esp. first name, last name, address, telephone number, e-mail address);

– or automatically collected through cookies.

Access to personal data is restricted to those members, employees and third parties (e.g. cooperation partners) who need to know this data. The persons and companies concerned are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the applicable data protection laws and regulations.

Cookies

When you visit the website, information may be stored automatically on your computer. This takes place in the form of so-called “cookies” or a similar file. These files help the AMP in particular to learn about the preferences of Visitors to the website and to continuously optimise the website.

Most browsers allow you to delete cookies, prevent their installation or generate a warning before a cookie is installed. Corresponding information can be found in the relevant browser instructions.

The AMP will use automatically stored information exclusively for statistical evaluations and, in particular, will not link it to any personal data provided to the AMP or otherwise associate it with such data.

Web analysis services

The AMP uses third-party web analytics services to evaluate the use of its website, to which personal data may also be transmitted in the course of using these services.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Ireland and Google Inc, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files which are stored on the computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about website usage (including the Visitor’s IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate the Visitor’s IP address with any other data held by Google. Visitors can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser software. However, the Muslim Professional Association of Switzerland would like to point out to Visitors that in this case it may not be possible to use all the functions of the website. By using the website, Visitors consent to the processing of data about them by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Security measures

The AMP takes the usual security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information and personal data.

Visitors are aware that transmissions on the Internet can never be fully secured. As soon as the AMP receives the transmitted information, it secures it in its systems in an appropriate manner.

Rights of visitors

Visitors may at any time request that the AMP send them a copy of the personal data concerning them or provide them with information on the use of this data. Furthermore, the AMP will correct or delete this data at any time at the request of the person concerned.

In such cases, the AMP will verify the identity of the person concerned. Requests can therefore only be processed after proof of identity has been provided (submission of passport copy or similar).

This privacy statement can be accessed, downloaded, saved or printed out at any time.

Adaptation of the privacy statement

The AMP expressly reserves the right to adapt the above privacy statement at any time and at its own discretion in accordance with the legal framework conditions.
